Restaurant Emergency Closure Orders

Florida inspectors can order a restaurant to close on the spot when they find a serious threat to public health, such as a roach or rodent problem, no hot water or sewage issues. In the past 90 days they issued 57 emergency closure orders in Jacksonville, St. Augustine and the rest of Duval, St. Johns, Clay and Nassau counties. 42 of those places have since passed a follow-up inspection. Updated every morning from Florida DBPR data.
