JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The first weekend of November brings free live music to Historic Springfield, a two-day surf and concert festival to Jacksonville Beach and a three-day street festival to St. Augustine's Lincolnville neighborhood. Jacksonville PorchFest runs Saturday, Nov. 7, from noon to 8 p.m., while the Super Girl Surf Festival fills the beach Saturday and Sunday. The National Weather Service forecast for central Jacksonville calls for sunny skies and highs in the low 70s over the weekend.

Several events overlap on Saturday, so planning ahead helps. Parking and traffic near Jacksonville Beach and downtown can be busy on a festival weekend. Details below come from the organizers' own pages and official listings, and times can change, so check each event's website before heading out.

Weekend Weather at a Glance

According to the National Weather Service in Jacksonville, Friday is expected to reach about 79 degrees with a slight chance of showers, about 18 percent. A cold front is forecast to move through Friday night, bringing cooler, drier air for the weekend. Saturday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 74, and Sunday mostly sunny with a high near 71.

Jacksonville PorchFest: Saturday, Nov. 7

PorchFest returns for its 12th year on Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. on the front porches of Historic Springfield, just north of downtown Jacksonville. According to Visit Jacksonville, it is a free, family- and dog-friendly music festival presented by Springfield Preservation and Revitalization, or SPAR. Organizers list musical acts, food trucks, craft beer and art vendors, and their FAQ mentions more than 20 live bands.

As of Wednesday, the festival's website said the 2026 lineup, schedule and map would be posted soon. Parking and VIP ticket details are on the festival's website at jacksonvilleporchfest.org. For questions, the SPAR office lists 904-353-7727.

The city's events listing for the walk also includes a Promise Garden flower ceremony, in which participants carry flowers whose colors reflect their connection to the disease.

Registration is available at alz.org/Jacksonville. One note of caution is that the city's listing contains an inconsistent date in its description, so participants should rely on the Alzheimer's Association page, which lists Nov. 7. The association's contact on the city listing is Carly Wille at 561-339-4046.

Lincolnville Festival in St. Augustine: Friday Through Sunday

The Lincolnville Historic Preservation and Restoration Society's festival began in 1979 as the Washington Street Festival, according to Visit St. Augustine. The 2026 schedule starts Friday, Nov. 6, with a jazz and veterans night from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 100 Washington St., featuring Melvin Smith. The listing gives the ticket price as $35 per person in one place and $30 in another, and says tickets include a museum tour and a fish fry before the concert.

On Saturday, a free street festival runs along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue between St. Francis Street and King's Ferry Way, with youth activities, food trucks, vendor booths and live music from noon. The Chris Thomas Project is listed at 7 p.m. and the Rebirth Brass Band at 8:30 p.m. Parking is listed at the St. Benedict the Moor church lot at 87 Martin Luther King Ave., and the listing suggests bringing a blanket or lawn chairs. Gospel in the Park follows Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., also free.

Beach and river conditions can change quickly, so check the latest National Weather Service forecast before the weekend.
